Sergeant Major's Message
Families of 1/12:
I would like to thank you all for
your attendance at the post and relief. This truly demonstrates that
1/12 is in fact a family oriented unit! For those of you that I didn’t
get a chance to meet, allow me to take a brief moment to do so. This has
been, hands down, the greatest personal achievement, for me to become a
Battalion Sergeant Major, especially for a combat arms battalion. I’m
truly committed in taking care of our most precious asset, The Marine. I
truly understand the importance in maintaining a good, quality line of
communication between the command and the families of the Marines and
Sailors. I look forward to getting out with the Battalion Commander
during PTA and seeing your Marine or Sailor in action and learning more
about them and their field. Please feel to contact our Family Readiness
Officer, Christopher A. Scott or myself at any time.
